Question When, how, where

As you all know we sent off our DIMIA app. on Friday via our agents, who said we won't hear from them now for about four months, not sure what this means, four months till we hear about meds/p.checks??? or till we get the yellow envelope!!! eek!

paid them their fee in full too along with the app. fee, now the worry begins again...
when to put the bungalow on the market? when to start looking at shipping quotes etc, do we start sorting stuff yet in readiness etc. what's your advice???!

Hi Rach,

got our TRA back today, so we are now full steam ahead, main app going in shortly, house going on the market January and we'll move in MIL'S. Not shipping much except kids stuff and that'll be sent on by MIL via shippers when we've finally settled in and rented somewhere. Think you'll hear about 4 mths onwards for your meds, probably not 4 mths for the whole thing - would be nice though eh???!!!

Hiya............ we are skilled independant 136

Andy's trade is Graphic pre-press

Our Application was acknowledged on the 29th May 2003 our agent has said that things are very slow at the mo and dont expect a request for medical until late December early January........which prob. means late january by they get back into the swing ov things after the festive season........

Reguarding the house , we have not put ours on the market as yet although once getting the all clear re the meds we might be tempted........ but we were advised not to do so incase we are not accepted.

Hi Lisa
good luck with your application and thanks for your reply!
we will still put the bungalow on the market after christmas as IF we don't pass the DIMIA app. we will sell anyway and move to somewhere bigger.
which agent are you using? we were told that if you get your app. in by the end of Nov./Dec. then its likely that you'll have your visa before the end of June/July rush!
fingers crossed eh?
regards
