Melb has just had a few days of cool clear sunny and crisp. It is freezing in the mornings, flannel PJ's slippers, hot water bottle, and feather duvet.

Woke up this morning its very light at 6.30am hung out some washing, there is not a cloud in the sky, birds are singing away, just noticed the blossom is coming out on one of our trees....a lovely time of year.

Lovely sunny day today. Having put away all my shorts (well bermudas really- no one sees my legs - I had to dig out a pair again so I could do my junk mail round without overheating- even took off my fleece at one point!!

Melb, yesterday got to 27, muggy. Today is one of those grubby type of days, greyish, bit cool, but in true melb style had 2 hours of sun this afternoon. leaves on trees in city half gone now, getting cooler.
Lows on weekend down to 14 apparently, but will be in brisvegas so no doubt it will be hot as there

Left melbourne grey, a little damp and 14.
Landed on sunshine coast, slightly overcast but 29 according to pilot. Mohair sweater promptly ditched.
2 hours on plane and temp doubled. Making it seem very humid.
Even though it was greyish weather, Qld seemed luxuriously green and colourful, almost sapphire ocean, white crests and golden sands, almost jewel colours compared to victoria. Cant deny Qld is incredibly beautiful, pity its so flamin hot.
Plane seemed mainly full of people heading to coast holiday homes or unaccompanied children high on lurid iced cupcakes, pringles and cans of coke
You can just imagine the parents packing that lot and thinking let someone else deal with it
