What's the best GPS/SatNav for Oz?

Well this one has the whole of Western Europe and USA, so I will delete USA and replace with Oz maps.
It also has a spare Micro SD slot which I could probably use as well.

True - according to TT website as there is not the space. However, there is nothing to stop you doing a full (not TT Home) back-up and then removing the UK maps and installing Australia maps and it will work fine. It;s basically just a hard drive after all. Then when you need to change you just revert back to the old one. It's pretty easy to do and arrange so you should not have a problem using it in any country - just that it does not have the space for both maps...

Or you could buy one of these and run the tomtom software on it

For all the talk of TomTom, my vote would have to go with iGo on one of these units. Not only can you acquire the software and maps readily, its does much more, with a nicer interface, proper 3D, and can be hacked to do anything else might want.
If all else fails you can always acquire a copy of TomTom for the unit.

AVforums may help with the tech side if you can't find help on TomTom

Or this one, that's bigger at the same price.
