Just so that I'm clear therefore if we were to move say Summer next year when my daughter would be aged 14.5 years we would not have to worry about her having to choose exam subject for quite a few years.

Unlike the situation in reverse (ie Aus - UK) where an Australian child would have to choose GCSE subjects on arrival in UK to start in September.

Is my thinking correct???
Yes, you are spot on :sunglasses: Although she will have to chose electives, but these can be changed right through to year 12, although if they have done them in year 11 its obviously much easier for them.....

Year 11 is important if you want access to year 12! Also, the teachers at our kids school (and Im sure they are not alone) use a programe to check that things are not copied from the internet....also use of PC's isnt allowed in exams
