LOL!!! Nothing like living next to a toxic waste dump, eh Bix.
Us ruralites have to stick together - since I seem to have become the Nundle tourist board, you should consider doing the same for Pittong!

"Step this way ladies and gentlemen and witness one of the only toxic dumps in OZ. No, don't worry about those people wearing suits, they are just alergic to the sun.

Aye Bundy, I can see it now. Making a few extra cents in my spare time as a tourist guide.

Did you know about the dump before you decided to move there? Or is it the dump (so to speak) that you are going for???? Why Pittong in the first place?

A lot of people think I should wear a white suit every day (jacket) so I could fit in with the toxic bods quite well

Then theres those that would say it's too late for toxic stuff to damage me anyway

I work in the Kaolin (china clay) industry and this is where the mining takes place. There are two plans for Pittong and one of them would wipe out our clay deposit

As I understand it the proposed sites were picked purely from a geological aspect and the authorities had not even checked out the proposed sites so they didn't even know there was a working business on one of them. (Info leaked too early)
Hey, think about the tranquil aspect. No neighbours to worry about except two headed cows

I expect housing will be cheap in Pittong, which is one bonus. At least you've got work too. Yep, get a white suit and face mask and blend in with the locals!!!

Don't joke. There actually WAS a two-headed cow in Nundle. Well, a calf. Two complete heads, which are now stuffed and mounted on the pub wall. I've got a photo and will bring it in sometime.
