I am bringing one of my UK customers into the Australian market ready for Christmas (silk clothing, 45+ age group, female) as a trial. My question really is; If you could get Next, MandS etc. would people be prepared to pay UK prices and wait (poss 28 days) for shipment. Cheers |

Cheers Yep, I would buy Next clothes on-line for my little un and hubby on-line and pay UK prices (& River island for me). But how would it work with returns, faulty goods etc???? Shell |
Re: What Shops Are You Missing????
Hi,
Returns are the biggest pain for any mail-order operation, would you believe that the average is 15% return rate? It is unusual to get faulty items and clothing is certainly not fragile. Most people order a couple of sizes, try them on and send one or both back. some wear for a night and then send back. It is unlikely anyone shipping from the UK will pay postage returns on items and any returns would be at the risk of the sender e.g. not refuned unless recieved by the company. In an export situation your statutory rights go out the window. However an operation fulfilled from within Australia woul work fine. Cheers!
