what are the big health no no's for getting in?
Hi can anyone tell me what are big no no's where health is concerned, we were ack on 23rd Jan and i am quite worried as i have had depression on and off over the past few years (mainly post natally) although my doctor is pleased with me and i am slowly reducing meds.
Just wondered if anyone has been in the same boat?
many thanks

Hi
I read a similar thread a few days ago, the general impression I got was that this type of thing won't greatly affect your application. Try not to worry.
I know someone will be able to help you more than I can, as I haven't had this kind of thing.
Good luck with everything. Sure it will all be fine

If you get a note off your GP saying how well your doing and confirms that your medication reductions you should be fine. Being relaxed and friendly will put the panel doctor at ease too.
Check out other threads on all the aussie websites and you should get some reassurance. The australian government are only really interested in saying no to people who will be a huge drain on their health system. Personally I don't think antidepressants will come into that expense wise.
I can understand your concerns though and wish you the best of luck.
