Hi
Anyone out there have any experience of Wembley Downs Primary? Is it a 'good' school? Any input (positive and negative) would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Hi
I live in this area and I've only heard good reports about the school. I know they've just had a new library/computer area built and the year one classes this year have just 19 and 21 children in each which is quite low. I don't have first hand knowledge as my kids go elsewhere but friends who go to Wembley Downs seem pretty happy.
Hope this helps!

We are moving into the area at the end of July, kind of by accident having found it really hard to get a decent rental in other areas we had earmarked prior to arriving. After driving around a bit the area seemed nice and a house came up for rental and we felt we had to act quickly, so we have taken the plunge. We haven't actually visited the school, but we have looked at the education department info. and the school's website. We're just hoping that as it seems a nice area that the school will be good. Most people we have spoken to seem to think Wembley Downs is a good area to live in for families.
Good luck!

Also, can you recommend any good doctors/dentists in the area?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Kapinara is in City Beach which although very close to Wembley Downs you would still need to drive there. From most places in Wembley Downs you should be able to walk to the Wembley Downs school. From what I've heard both schools have good reputations so personally I don't think there's much to choose between them. As I said however I don't have first hand info so I'm only going on reputation! Partly depends on how important it is for you to be very near the school (and consequently 90% of the other students!) I wouldn't have thought you'd have regrets with either but it might be worth a tour of Kapinara to put you mind at rest. Sorry I can't be of more definite help!

Thanks for that. The school is in walking distance from the house which is a real plus and hopefully some of the local children will go there and not to Kapinara!! We are just going to stick with our decision.
