Well done to the Boys
Having put up with the bragging Australian Media and their feats of bravo ( having done very little) , nice to see the Brits have showed courage and respect for the Iraqi's to get the job done we remain a proud Nation with the best forces in the World .
The big differance between us the Yanks and want to be Aussies is that we shout less and do more , very proud right now of our Lads and due respect to those who died.
A SENIOR British officer declared firmly last night: “Militarily we have won the war.�
Col Chris Vernon said: “No significant resistance remains either in Basra or Baghdad.�
His views were backed by US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, who said of Saddam’s regime: “We do know he no longer runs much of Iraq.
“The circle is closing, their options are running out.�
Dashing Col Vernon spoke out as British forces liberated Iraq’s second city.
He said: “The British now control Basra and US forces will control Baghdad within days.

Love litle Johnny trying to keep up with the big boys , Brits take South Iraq , Yanks North and on comes little Johnny "our SAS stopped the Russian Ambassador on his way home while on traffic duty thats the best he could do , the nasty Yanks and Brits had sent him home with a few good will rounds of gun fire and you lads polished his car.
