Default Weird street names.

Just for fun.

In SEQ, I'll list the suburb and street name.

Inala - Thrush and Swallow Streets intersect!
Booval - Tongue St.
Broadbeach - Hooker Boulevard

Any more anywhere?

there's a place near here called Narrabeen. And I always imagine the person that named it saying 'I nar a been here before' so decided to call it that!

The road near here called 'Bells Line of Road' always got me! And every town seems to have a 'George street' and a 'Maquarie street'.

There's a place in northern NSW called Woodenbong, which is appropriate for the area.

A suburb between Brisbane and Sunshine Coast is called Donnybrook.

There's a town in Victoria called Blow Hard.

Ha! Having lived in NZ I know what minge means. I don't think the word is used in Australia.
