If you dragged me (kicking and screaming) from Perth and forced me to live in Q'land, I'd pick Cairns. Not for the town itself, but for the gorgeous hinterland..............Atherton, Herberton, Mareeba.

My brother and his wife move out there in January next year and we will follow as soon as we get our Visa's. I have not read all of this thread (apologies for that) so is this where you are heading too? If you are, how have you come to this decision? R. |
