Hi all, just thought i would make myself envious and ask what the weather is like today in Sydney (where we will be in 3 months).
For those lucky enough to be there, back here in Leicester it is high winds, driving rain, cold and we are expecting snow!

lol - you picked the wrong day to ask mate. It started out well enough - 32 degrees, blue skies and then, at about 3 o'clock a southerly blew in, accompanied by thunderstorms, hail, torrential rain and damaging winds.

Just talking to my daughter inlaw in Sydney this morning she said weather is shite here, well it must be warm shite because here it is cooold

Yup, it's been lovely for the last few days. Highs of around 30 dropping to low 20's at night.

Then at around 7pm here, it starting raining and blowing. It's calmed down now and the temp right now (just past midnight) is a very pleasant 20 degrees. Forecast is for showers over the next few days.

Mmmm 30 degrees - what i would give for that. You are all so lucky
We will arrive in mid May, so the start of the winter. What will it be like then? I know what the weather sites say, but would like your views on how it is different to the UK?

Home soon it won't be long. Is it strange that I am a brit homesick for OZ?
