Question weather in Queensland

Hi there,

Can anyone tell us what the weather will be like late july/August. We are going for a reccie and travelling from Brisbane upto Caines by car. We wanted to know to help us decide what clothes to pack.

Thanks!:

Thanks for that. That seems quite warm to us compared to our winters in the uk. Wish our winter was that cold! Can't wait to get there!

Be aware that it can get cold at nights as most buildings have no insulation.
It will obviously be warmer the further north you go but take something warm to wear in the evenings.

I would not have believed this myself until we visited one July.

We had a thin layer of ice on top of our wheelie bin one winter so it can get down to 0 C. I certainly remember a number of overnights in the 2-4C region in the height of winter.

We now have the 10.5 tog duvet on and it was lovely last night. Unfortunately I just looked at the thermometer outside and it's 18 degrees and I am freezing. I will have to find my socks and boots. If I didn't have to go out I would like the fire
