It will be really scarey for a while until you find your feet.
Would love to meet up a bit to far away from the Sunshine Coast although not quite there yet.

Hi Kris,
Glad you made it over ok, although I'm a tad envious! We've just got back from a 2-week reccie of the place and loved it! You'll have to visit Kings Park pretty soon as it'll help you relax for a few hours in amongst the stress and panic of sorting everything out!

We are also from Essex going to Perth, we should have arrived on the 26th March but the sale of our house fell through at the last minute so we had to change it to a holiday to activate our Visa. We have thankfully now re-sold the house and should be arriving about early July, looking back it was a blessing that it fell through as a week after we got back my father-in-law had to have a major op. We also found Perth so clean, driving so easy and public transport is also very good. We checked out what we needed to do and where to go when we arrive and when we asked an Aussie where the tax office was he described it as being next to Vultures and told us that the Bar was named Vultures as it was next to the Tax Office and the staff all drink in there.
