We are in Perth!!
Well after a stressful couple of weeks with shippers and goodbyes we have finally made it and so far soo good!!
It is sooooo different to what we expected!
So clean everywhere, driving is easier than we expected as is finding your way around.
Just trying to find our way around and get all the boring stuff done first its soooo overwhelming and so far not having our own home quite unsettleing add to that the fact we dont know anybody all a bit daunting!!
So if anyone fancys meeting up we would be glad of a bit of company!!
Will give a full update soon!! When we have found our feet!!

You've missed the really hot weather, which isn't a bad thing. Suggest you take the family to Kings Park one afternoon and head for the Western Power section of the park, well sign posted. There are great climbing frames/walkways for the kids(?) and THE CLEANEST stainless steel BBQ's(free) you'll every see. Just push the button and they'll heat up in minutes.
Whiteman Park (over near Tracey Swan Valley area) is a great day out to stroke a Kangeroo and stroke a Koala, you'll really feel like your in Oz then! While you're in the area, there are some great wineries, I like Upper Reach or Lamonts.... great wine and food!

A bit "wierd" at first isn't it Kris.
Don't worry, it doesn't last.
Need to get all the essentials cracked then just tour around the streets for a few days.
Getting familiar with your surroundings makes a big difference.

Glad you got to aus all in one peice with what you have to do and remember it must be a nightmare
will look forward to anything you have to report back about perth we should hopefully be on our way over fairly soon (if we get our visa!!!!) 2 weeks since meds and waiting.
