We finally got it...... yikes.......
We got the pre-grant weeks ago.......and just been told
WE FINALLY GOT THE VISA!!!!:PARTY: :PARTY: :PARTY:
Boy I feel like we've just run the "DIMIA Grand National"
Two weeks ago DIMIA awarded the visa to the wrong person in our family [15 yr old son has similar initials!].
This delayed the visa by about 2 weeks
But at last.......it's been awarded
Just got 2 wait for letter to arrive from Oz now. Then get passports posted.
Can't stop smiling
Believe me...we've nearly fallen a few times on the "DIMIA Grand National".
If we can get through it then anyone can.
Good luck to you folks out there still waiting.

We're heading for Brisbane as we thought the climate, jobs, area would suit us best
What about you? Where you heading?It's taken us 13 months from start to finish [took slightly longer than the "norm" due to hicups re son's medical and DIMIA cockup].
BUT WE FINALLY GOT THERE........and you will too. It just takes time.......

nikkers: I've given my notice to finish on 18th June. Going to visit friends & family for couple of weeks then hoping to fly to Brissy on 30th June all being well [have sold house STC and depends on this going through on time/plan].
Where abouts in Brissy are we heading?:
