Waiting. waiting, waiting.
Hi All
New to the forum. Any advice on coping with waiting, although reading some of the threads, as a nurse I havn't been waiting for as long as some folks.
My permanent visa application was sent to Oz on 3rd June. Waiting on credit card being charged but noyhing as yet. Anyone know how long before they do so.
Any other mental health nurses going to Perth?
Thanks

welcome to the forum........cope with waiting????..........well-start practising climbing the walls, drink copious amounts of alcohol (psyche nurse? you probably do already then!), stay up all day and all night on the BE site, stress over everything :scared: then of course there's Timeline, you have to check on that in case anyone else looks like they might be getting their visa before you -always good to add the feeling that you're being overlooked to your general state of panic. Of course even when you know it's too soon to have heard anything, start checking the post 'just in case'. Get used to that deflated feeling each day-then check your emails 20 times a day (even when DIMIA are at home sleeping-again 'just in case'.
Hope that helps!!!!! Good luck with it all-it's a great feeling when you get back down to earth!!!
