Hi, tell us about it this waiting game is not nice. We couldn't relate to those threads who were sick of waiting until now!!! We sent our visa app off in march, and apart from acknowledging that they had received it we have heard zero!!! We are going it alone, so we dont have an agent to follow this up for us, plus we front loaded so unsure whether they will request medicals or not.
I just wanted to sympathise with you, and reassure you that your not alone. As for the time scale there is no sure answer, as it seems visas are issued randomly. However there maybe hope from the positive replies.

Remember......one day more waiting.....is actually one day less.
Know exactly how it feels....like a prisoner marking off his time......but without knowing what time he is serving.
Have patience guys.......your time will come.

Hi Shazrazmataz
While you were waiting did you hear from your case officer (apart from request for meds)? Our visa went in a month after yours, but we have since sent extra documents and asked them to confirm that they have everything they need to process the visa but have heard nothing. That email was sent 23/5/05 so much for the 5 day response.

Re: Waiting
Hi Ian,
The only time we heard from the C.O. was when we had our meds requested.
It only took 12 weeks from when our visa application was sent 'til we had our visa granted.

Just go to your profile and chose edit signature. Everything you add there will appear at the bottom of every post, and you can change it as you like.
Hope this is what you're after.

Re: Waiting
We also have heard nothing. Visa application was sent off on March 2nd and confirmation received 9th. Credit card charged on 12th March and were still waiting for medical requests
Got so fed up waiting for the requests, we went ahead and had them done on Friday, the police checks were sent off on 24 May.
This waiting and waiting is a complete nightmare, mental torture is what I think it is!.
