Hi All,
I can only say this,I always wanted to live in the USA,dont ask why but after several trips out there,loved it,my mate an "Ozzie bird" said why not Australia and for years I kept saying no way,"bloody snakes ,spiders and all that...anyway last year we went to Perth and found it to be 100% better than the USA..and nothing like how I thought it was going to be,I did sort off find Perth about 20/30 years behind the UK.having said that I still found it to be fantastic "for us"..we would'nt have known that if we didnt go over...so go and have a look,it might be the best thing and money well spent ..

we didnt look at the schools as our girls are only 4 and 2 at the moment but as we like the north we like the look at beau maris http://www.beaups.vic.edu.au/
which i hear is pretty good,
our friends girls went to mullaloo primary and they were happy with that school.
they are pretty hot on catchments for schools and siblings (same as the uk system really)unless you could afford private education which is cheaper than the uk.
they way we looked at it is we're not going so our kids can become brain surgeons we are going to hopefully bring our girls up in a better enviroment and as long as they get the same level of education as they would where we are now then we will be happy.
the way we look at is we have such a short time with our kids as they grow up and get their own lives every minute is precious so would be great to spend them near to beautiful beaches,clean parks and lovely weather most of the year.
