I'm filling out a mortage enquiry form and it wants to know 'what visa number am i entering australia on?'
On my visa label in my passport there are numerous numbers and i dont know which they are refering to or do they just mean i'm entering on a 136 skilled visa ?????
Anyone got more of an idea than me ??

It means which subclass, so yours would be 136

Hi, I have had this too on numerous occasions too, want an actual visa number, i always put down the one running sideways at right hand side, no-one ever got back in touch so i guess it's right. hope this helps. x

Don't bother writing that down cos they will also want a 'copy' of your visa, so get you scanner out.

Nothing confusing......on the form write 136 and also send in a photocpy or scan of your visa label

They are more interested in the class (eg 136) as that shows them what visa you are on - whether its permanent or temporary. Thats the important bit as far as a mortgage company is concerned.
