is the permanent resident holder Visa 176 eligible to rent assistant through centerlink?

There are no benefits for first two years living in Australia. Then would be subject to meeting the usual criteria.

If you are entitled to more than the basic rate of family tax benefit (not subject to 2 yr rule) then you are entitled to rent assistance.
