I admit to not reading all of the replies to date, but has anyone mentioned that it might be the poms committing all the crime?
There's an advert on local radio here, for those requiring the services of a lawyer, and it always seems to be some 'cockney' bloke what's in strife. |
Re: Violent crime escalating in Perth
There is crime in the outer northern suburbs more so than SOR. The media do make things worse Perth isn't that bad.

There are stats for other Perth districts, I've just chosen one NOR and one SOR for comparison. |

Are you absolutely sure about that? Compare these stats from http://www.police.wa.gov.au/Aboutus/.../Default.aspx:

In fairness Helen, everyone needs to look at all the stats. As youve said they are only a couple but they are NW and SE and I think the East is significant. If you look at the South stats the numbers are really low (this isn't Mandurah as there is a Peel result too).
Also straight West is very low. Personally I think there is crime everywhere in Perth, some areas worse than others. It is about keeping your wits about you and keeping your family and property as safe as you can. |
