Has anyone else entered Oz through this route?
Save for the need to live in Victoria for 24 months (and have a skilled occupation that is in demand at the time of applying) it all seems very good: it is ceratinly a possibility if you are a few points short of the pass marks as we are due to my wife not returning to work afte the birth of our second child and .
Given that it enables us to work in Melbourne it would seem to have inherent advantages over the SIR? Am I missing anything?
We are at the skills assessment stage. Any idea of time frame?
