Yes, I work in the UK - and so does my wife, who doesn't want to move just yet. She is very close to her parents, who lack both the means and the qualifications to emigrate Down Under - so it's going to be a big wrench for all of them when she goes.

Our current timeframe is two years.

Ah yes, Whyalla - I remember it well from my previous trips to the riverland. Glenlock, Whyalla and Waikerie are all beautiful places, but they can be very harsh in the summer.


We will definitely make a point of visiting SA when we eventually move over.
It's certainly worth a look. :)

The first three shots were taken from the van as we made our way down from Devonport on the Bass Highway. The last two were taken at the Cataract Gorge. They were taken at dusk, so I'm afraid they're a bit dark. :)

Actually, these photos were taken some distance out of Devonport. But yes, it does get a bit damp up there. :)
