Try these...

The first three were taken at the house of my mates in Yatala Vale. They own several acres out there.

The second two are photos of my mother's house in Greenacres. :)

I have plenty more, but they're all photos of friends and family. :o

Why are you going back to the UK and not living in OZ, do you work there?

Thanks for this thread Vash.......... a great read and good pics.

A few years ago, we fetched up in Adelaide on a Sunday morning...... and wondered where all the people were. Other than in Rundle Mall, there was no one, not even down by the river

Surely not all at church ?

Jim

Obviously the landscape in that area is a lot more "green and pleasant" than where I came from. I was born in Whyalla and all the photos we have of there are of red, dusty desert and hardly any grass. No wonder my mother got homesick and dragged us all to the UK ... though we did end up in an end terrace right next to the railway and my parents have been there ever since ...

We will definitely make a point of visiting SA when we eventually move over.

I think you'll find that not much is open on Sunday, so there's no compelling reason to spend time in the CBD. People are far more likely to be on the beach at Glenelg, enjoying the cappucino strips at the edge of the city, or driving up to the hills. :)
