Default Validation of Visa 137

Does anyone know how much time you get from being granted this visa to entering Oz permanantly?

Many thanks

Validation rules are the same. However you do have your obligation to live in the sponsoring state for 2 years, and if you keep putting off the permanent move, the state authorities might get upset.

Its twelve months from medical, police checks whichever was the earliest done, for the validation then you have five years to come and go as you please, after this if you have not obtained citizenship then you would need a resident return visa once you leave the country

So theoretically, once we receive the Visa number we could leave it a maximum of 3 years before going over and then spend the final 2 years of the 5-year visa period living in our sponsorship state?
