Uxo !!!!!!!!!!
Hi Just thought I'd make people aware !! We put an offer on a property in Secret Harbour today and when filling out the forms near to the end!! were asked to sign a form agreeing that we had been made aware of the UXO which were around Secret Harbour, Warnbro etc. It said that although the area had been swept with metal detectors and deeper Mine sweeping equipment the area had been used as a target range during the second world war and there were still UXO which had not be found. I'm pleased to say that they rejected our offer !!! My husband reckons that the plots for sale are where previous houses were, but have just disappeared in the night with a bang !! Lucky escape I'd say. The estate agent didn't seem all that concerned, but maybe I'm just over cautious at living on top of a unexploded object !!
