Default using folios

i have looked through the question on folios and numbering the folios, in the search engine,
however just a liitle confused.
when sending all info off and looking at document checklist it refers to schedules.
Schedule 1 = documents required for making a valid aplication
schedule 2 = docs required for assessments against ponts test
schedule 3= personal docs
is each schedule a separate folio, each needing separate numbering from bottom up to top.
Or are all these 3 schedules treated as 1 document where last page of sched 3 being page no 1 and the top page of sched 1 being last page out of the 3 scheds put together.?
thnx

lisa stick this on the immigration thread I cant' remember the answer now from ours (8mths ago). I know when this came out ( it was new for 2004/5 ) there was much debate on the topic so fi you search on 'folio' in the immigration forum you should find the answer.
