Not quite made the 1000 mark yet, and most of my posts have been " congratulations ", " Well done " etc etc.
To reitterate Jack Daws, it's about support and a kind of mateship and a sense of being involved. It's great to hear about others success and different views and thoughts.
Seems to me, that when we get to australia,we will be way more open to everything around us, the good and the bad, the do's and the don't and the positives and the negatives.
For some, a once in a while " check-in " to expats is plenty and to the rest of us, who like a natter/debate/chinwag, expats provides a kind of release, especially when it's difficult to discuss migration with friends/ collegues/ family, who know very little or nothing about migration and even less about what those feelings are, when you're waiting for a visa that never seems to arrive.
