The upside down river
Melbourne's Yarra river is known locally as the upside down river- because it's muddy on the top and clear underneath.It's to do with the current .Well sort of clear underneath....
Last year the Police did a sweep of 2kms of the river and turned up , amongst other things, 15 cars.
Some explaining was required as the majority of these cars still had the keys in the ignition.!
Can anyone from any other capital city beat this ?
Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase " I forgot where I parked my car "
