Can anyone remember the website where you can register to stop getting unwanted telephone calls etc?

Don't know the website but it is called the Telephone Preference Service, you should find it in the phone book.

I find that when getting these calls the trick is too tell the guy to hold on for a minute as you are busy & then leave him on hold for 20 minutes. Other things to do are have a whistle close to hand, tell him to f**k off or explain what his mother did with a dog to produce him. Works for me.
