Default TV with HDMI

My TV has an HDMI connection, I assume I won't have a problem using it in Australia?

Chers,

Marcus.

No problem at all - you will ahve to buy a Set Top Box (STB) - they're a bit more expensive in Oz than UK ones, but not too much.

Oooh, dodgy

The HDMI standard in Australia is slightly different and the only way to tell if yours will function is once you arrive.

The UK HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) Type A standard uses a 19 pin horizontally aligned double row stack, while the Australian HDMI (Highly Dodgy Mullet-headed Idiot) is generally of a Bogan type with no pins and vertically aligned stubby.

Look here For more information on the Australian HDMI standard

Al

HDMI is a global interface standard. Also, it's highly unlikely that your TV only has an HDMI input
