Back to the thread , our small lcd LG tv works fine and thats just over a year old. The 2year old main panasonic one has no sound etc so watch tv via a scart lead and freeview type digibox.There is not much on though so watching lots of dvds at night !

I am one of those people who write proper sentences with commas, capital letters, apostrophes, the lot in my text messages. If someone sends me one full of text talk, they don't get a response because 9 times out of 10, I haven't understood it
It is lazy, people cannot be so busy they can't write "you" instead of "u". But it's not my place to tell them not to. I will tell my children what to do but not another adult. They just won't get the benefit of my knowledge

Why do you think teenagers spelling is terrible, maybe something to do with texting and using PC;s with spell checking?

thanks for the back up sean I only wanted to know abt my tv make u wonder if to bother even asking anything when u get a reply like that..
