Travel to Oz before Visa is Granted
Hi all
Just wondered if anybody had done / is planning to do this?
We would love to travel to Oz and NZ before our PR (136) visa is granted since we have already sold everything and submitted our meds and police checks etc. I understand that we need to be offshore in order for the visa to be granted.
Our application stated that we wanted to have our visas granted in the UK. Assuming that we decide to travel to Oz before visa grant, would it be best to contact DIMIA and inform them that we now wish our visas to be granted at the nearest overseas mission (i.e. Auckland)
or
Should we leave the arrangements as they are, go offshore to NZ and arrange to post our passports back to the UK for visa grant ?
Anyone have experience of this at all?
