Default transfer civil service preserved pension?

Hello everyone,
I was in the civil service in the uk for 17 years and have clocked up a bit of a pension, has anyone been in the same situation and transferred it to Oz? Still have a good while till Im at retirement age.

Just wondered if I should do and if so if anybody knows a good company to use. Also if the good exchange rate makes a difference? Pensions are confusing to me but I am aware that the goalposts always seem to be changing in the UK regarding them and I dont know if it will affect mine now Im here(slack, been here for 5 years).

thanks
Les x
