Tramping in NZ
We're planning on doing some travelling through Oz and NZ from Dec-Feb and are keen to see plenty of NZ by foot if possible. Can anyone recommend some websites/books about tramping or travelling in NZ. Any tips on the best ways of getting around NZ (e.g. coach/train) would be gladly recieved as well
TIA

The lonely planet guide is excellent.
Try and do Milford sound ...
Also an explanation of the word Tramping - different in Nz than it is in the UK.
It means hill walking.... in case anyone was wondering.
