Training to become an Electrician in Oz
Hi - does anyone have any details on how you would go about becoming an Electrician in Oz (Perth or Brisbane)? (As opposed to transferring existing skills).
We've been passed from website to website and don't seem to be getting anywhere beyond knowing it's either going to be an apprenticeship or traineeship. Is it possible to get previous work experience (as Service Engineer/Technician for betting terminals) recognised to reduce the no. of years of training needed? Any infos or pointers would be great.
