Default TRA times?

How long is the Norm for a TRA decisin at the moment?

I`m using an agent at the moment and have been advised that it has just been sent a fortnight ago,

Will i get a acknowledgement that they have recieved my application ?

I just cant bare to call them to ask! :scared:

Hi Sunny,
TRA usually takes between 5 months for assessment for a AUD$300 Application and Priority Proccessing take around 3 months at AUD$500.

I got quoted 4 weeks for my priority one, but I think the no brainer MODL ones are going through in a week or so, mine is non modl so it'll be a wait similar to yours.

We got ours after 8 weeks for a standard application (which they reckon is usually about 6 months), and we didn`t use an agent.

Great Goin Guys!!
I m sure TRA is the most busy assessment authority and its still doing pretty good.

If any one applied as a Diesel Engine Mechanic, some one I know who is not a motor mechanic, but he works with GEN SETS and DIESEL ENGINES. and the STNI list of Victoria has it in its demand list. Can a DIESEL ENGINE MECHANIC BE CLASSIFIED AS A MOTOR MECHANIC under the asco codes 4211-11 and CLAIM MODL points ??

We sent our TRA via an agent. We hadn't heard anything after 8 weeks. After contacting our agent a couple of times and them reassuring us there was nothing to be concerned about we took matters in to our own hands. We contacted the TRA people direct with our case number. Our reply had been posted 2 weeks after they had received it. Our agent says they never received it! They are now requesting a duplicate. Sometimes it is best to sit quietly and wait, other times you have to be pro-active. I would give it a couple more weeks before making any enquiries though.
