Just went into bank and got them to do a bankers draft for $500 payable to the correct payee (can't remember). They write it all out for you and deduct money from your account!
Good luck

A bankers draft needs to be drawn on an Australian Bank. It takes a couple of days and they send to your home address usually. I don't think TRA execpt a Bankers drafts unless they are drawn on a Oz bank

Neither, just did an Electronic Transfer from my bank to the account on the form. Very straight forward took about 10 minutes in the bank.
The Bank then work out the exchange rate and deduct straight from your account + there fee of course.

We paid £10 for a relay payment from NatWest and attached the acknowledgement to the application - direct electronic funds transfer - no lost cash
WE sent our TRA on the 5th of August and it came back this week approved - all done with our own fair hands - shame we seem to have changed our mind about going over - but hey thats life the option is still there to apply now
