tip off kiama blowhole free and a good day out
rip off the Sydney monorail not much to see best to use for getting about rather than sight seeing

Tip Off – The ferry to manly from Circular Quay, cheap and you get a great view and look at the harbour then to be greeted by Manly – a much nicer beach than Bondi

Rip off – The ferry to Darling Harbour from Circular Quay, I see tourists pack onto it all the time, you can walk it yourself in 15 min for free!

Yea - that does make me giggle. It's a bit like the tube where you think of London's geography in terms of the tube stations, but over-ground it's totally different. I quite often do that ferry ride you mentioned - not because it's quicker, but because it's nice to ride the ferry and if you've bought a Red Rover anyway ...

Tip off (good one if you're on a budget) ... Australia Zoo is quite expensive and I should imagine quite touristy and crowded - we went to Alma Park Zoo which is just south of Oz Zoo and a third of the price - it was really quiet, not busy at all, and still had everything we wanted to see including the kanga enclosure where the roos were so docile we were literally hugging them - they weren't even phased by my mad 2 year old bouncing around them. The barbeque areas were really nice too - I don't think you have them at Oz Zoo. We will deffo be going back there again.

Can't think of any rip-offs right now but I'm sure there's loads, after all apparently I'm a habitual moaner!!!

And have free concerts sometimes - like Opera and Ballet in the Park. Telstra Ballet in the Park is a fantastic night out. Take your wine and picnic and just enjoy.

rip off- taronga zoo, lovely but.......

Tip off -blacktown zoo a small train ride out of sydney and in small and more hands on

Tip off- if up in carines go on a reef magic boat as they have a pontoon and you can snorle off it, helicopter flight, scuba dive off it and go in glass bottom area. So is for all different people.

Tip off- if going to any of the gold coast parks check on line for discount vouchers to help with the cost. (also if you go to wet and wild and get concusion after 2 hours really push for a free pass)
