Oh come off it. You're looking for t-shirts, size large. You go to the rack which says 't-shirts - large', and you quickly browse through. Believe me when I say I hate shopping, but TK Maxx isn't really that bad. If I can save £30 on a t-shirt then I can stand having to look through.

Stuff like kitchenware/bedding etc is all displayed fine and there is absolutely no need for rummaging.

I went to Harbortown, Perth a couple of days ago and found that to be a whole lot worse, with incorrect sized items all over the place and clothes on the floor etc.

Infact yeah, TK Maxx is an absolute hole - I strongly recommend against going there.....more bargains for me when I pop back to the UK ;)

I hate the shop, you don't. What's the problem? Why is someone not allowed their opinion on something without getting an earful from someone who doesn't know them? What Harbourtown in Perth has to do with me not liking a shop is beyond me but it obviously makes sense to you.

I don't have a problem, it's called a discussion. Without which forums such as this would be extremely dull.

You said you have to 'rummage through shedloads of crap', to which I disagreed. That's hardly 'giving you an earful' is it? I simply put my point across in disagreement to your view.

My comment about Harbourtown was in reference to the OP's question of if there is anything like TK Maxx in Australia, to which there was a response 'thankfully no'. The point being that there are shops of similar ilk in Australia, and worse.

Oh and you simply cannot compare the p!ss-poor quality of clothes in Target and K-Mart to what you will get in TK Maxx.

There are plenty of places around that price point - but the execution is cheaper & nastier!!

I'm in the UK at the moment - and while I don't consider it that important - its glaringly obvious that the high street shopping here is vastly superior AND cheaper.

Some people seem to think that Target sell stuff equivalent to the UK high street - I'd agree with the Wookie that that's laughable!

The comment 'oh come on' didn't strike me as discussion but what do I know. You're obviously confusing me too much. Wasn't aware I had compared TKM with anywhere other than Trade Secret. Strangely though you complain about the quality of clothing in Target. This is exactly the same quality of clothing, including style, design, colour that Next sell. According to many on here you can't beat Next.

Anyway I've suggested Trade Secret to the OP, can't be arsed to 'discuss' shopping. Dinner needs cooking.

Not so sure about that, but its just personal opinion. I got dragged into Trade Secrets by someone a few months ago - terrifying place, and I have to say it actually reminded me of Primark :D Give me the likes of Evans or M&S anyday.

Some people seem to have an assumption that because TK Maxx products are cheap, that they're crap and comparable to Target or K-Mart. Which is a nonsense, because the items for sale in TK Maxx are high-quality brands.

TK was ok. You could get good stuff for the price of cheap stuff. I wasn't a fan of the way the shop was laid out but that is a small matter.
Some awesome cookware to be had.

I love TK Maxx. Yes it takes ages to go through certain things, but well worth it at times. I have got some right bargains from there. Last years designer clothes are a bargain as well as Jackets/coats.:thumbsup:

I got an awesome black Cashmere long coat. Italian with silk lining. 100 quid!! Too hot to wear it here though.....:rolleyes:
