Question TK Maxx Equivalent?

Hello,

Does Oz have an equivalent to TK Maxx? I am in need of some bed items-pillows, duvet, bed covers etc. Or can anyone suggest somewhere I can get this stuff quite cheap?

Thanks

Hi Guys
There is nothing like TK Maxx in Melbourne that I am aware of. Probably your best option is Target or Kmart which are department stores, and Target probably have more of a selection than Kmart, or DFO (Direct Factory Outlets) which is a shopping mall where shops have their cut price shops. There is one at Southern Cross Station, one at South Wharf Docklands and one in Essendon. Most of them will have sales on at the moment, and Target are usually very reasonable.
Happy Shopping
Katie

We don't live near a shopping area so I've found that online can be quite good and quite cheap but all relative I suppose .... dealsdirect are my fav but for whole bed sets you could try tvsnshopping.

Otherwise I suppose everyone might suggest Spotlight, K Mart, Target ...

Happy shopping! I love buying bedlinen, totally changes how a room looks! Or Ikea too, just suddenly thought!

You shouldn't have too much trouble with all the sales on at the moment - is there Pillow Talk near you???

Don't know where you are but there's a couple of bloody awful shops like that round here - called Trade Secrets. Don't know if they are anywhere else though.

Have you ever shopped there? It may have some kind of 'chav' stigma, but the bottom line is that you can get decent quality items for ridiculous prices. Maybe you can afford to go and pay top-whack prices, but a lot of people can't.

We bought a whole heap of Le Creuset cookware for absolutely daft prices before coming out to Australia, and I would often buy surfwear such as Quiksilver t-shirts for about £10.

People with this 'snobby' attitude seriously do my head in.

TK Maxx is a fantastic shop, all top brands at really reduced prices, normally last seasons. I wish I had filled our container up with household stuff before we came here. You wont find anything like that out here in OZ, especially at Target or K-Mart, cheap crap!

Don't know about Zulu but from my perspective it's nothing to do with being snobby it's to do with finding the shop to be my complete idea of hell. I'm sure you can find good bargains there but I'm not prepared to put myself through the nightmare of rummaging through shedloads of crap just to find it when I can find the same stuff in other places for no more than a few dollars or pounds more. The shop IMO is worse than Tescos and that's saying something.
