Wow, this was sudden!
Is separating Australia and New Zealand forums really such a good idea? I've had feedback from some of the Oz group that's been really helpful to me. And there were always some postings that had crossover interest. On the other hand it did get time-consuming wading through threads that were irrelevant (and often real downers too to say the least!).
Main worry though is trying to keep the Usenet posters out - why?? Sure, a very few that pop in now and then are of unsavory character (I've complained myself about PPP), but most are some of the best contributors on the forum. A separate NZ 'room' can't succeed without them, it's all about numbers. So what is this about deleting their messages from time to time in the interest of saving space? PLEASE DON'T!
(Cath, Ian, everyone else... hope you're still with us!)
Anyway, just hope everyone is agreed that if this doesn't work, we shall all complain loudly 'til they put it right again! This forum has been the best thing going on the internet for anyone looking to migrate to NZ - don't want that to change...
Cheers!
