hi is anyone ona time scale for june and going to queensland {townsville}

we have got our family visa and now waiting on the house to sell once that has sold we will move in with my mom :scared: til june .
why june cause my son needs to sit his sats first thought it would be better for him to do them here.
be nice to here from anyone doing the same

Much the same as you, waiting for house sale :scared: :scared: got a secong viewing tomoz so fingers, toes and everything crossed as they have already sold theirs, so putting on our best rags tomorrow and will greet them at the door with champayne and canopies, how can they refuse!!!!

We have been looking quite alot lately at Townsville and really quite fancy it there, but not sure where all the work is till we get there, although hubby was approached by employment agent from Townsville at the London expo. who was really keen.

It all depends on the house sale but are seriously looking at March to get going (can't come soon enough) agents have said bout 12 weeks completion even without upward chain!

we love townsville its a really nice place to live and great for kids {if you have any] and depens on what job you are looking for but my auntie who lives there said there is plenty of jobs around ........its a real good starting point .

Thats really good to hear plenty of jobs around, we really like the look of Townsville, its the only place we've really looked seriously at housing there. Do you know of any areas in Townsville to avoid or any to aim for? We have 2 little uns 7yrs and 2yrs. We really quite fancy it, so just gotta get moving with this house, thanks for the good luck.

ther doesnt seem any bad areas just older towns like south townsville and railway estate ,we are looking at kirwan and annadale .schools seem excellent .
