Default time scale ?

hi everyone,
hubby,me and 2 kids (2 and 5yrs) have given ourselves a time scale of 5 years to get everything sorted(updating skills, money etc.)before we make the move to perth.
does anyone think that this is to long,to short we don,t have the application horrors to go through as i have an oz passport but i read one post about the right ages to take kids over and everyone said the younger the better ,but for us to make a decent life ,job and money wise then i think it will have to be 5 yrs.
i guess i just want someone to tell me that i am not making a mistake.
teresa

I suppose it will be the right time if you both wonna work.

The kids will be at school 7 you should be prepared for the move by then.
