Today - 3 coffees and 3 cakes - $30. Can somebody in England tell me if 14 quid is a lot for 3 coffees and 3 cakes?

Just got our bill from iinet. $90 for Broadband ADSL2 (?) and all calls.

I still think this is mroe expensive than the UK though isn't it?

I seem to recall that my father pays about 35 quid and gets Sky, all phone calls (and free to Australia sometimes) and broadband.

Actually I would be interested in knowing the cheapest option in the UK, as my brother still lives there, and he was astonished at how cheap mine was, compared to his. I said I would try to help in finding him something cheaper in the UK.

I think it all comes down to looking around properly. I think it is probable that some in the UK pay less than in Australia, but others pay more.

Jesus - 500 net profit on a TO of 1.5 mill????? 30%???

Surely this is unheard of? Most retail I think works on about 12% net.

Doesn't mention the sales revenue is over a year. Could be the 11 years for all we know ;)

Coffee shops do have low overheads[exc rent] however 33% profit does sound a tad over the top:sneaky:

Can you imagine how many coffee's you'd have to make for that:unsure:

To NKSK - I currently pay about £45 a month for ADSL and phone here in Kent - There are certainly cheaper options . . . but you get what you pay for! ;)
