Question Things to do when you move to AUS permanently

Hello Everybody,

I would like to know what are the things one should do when they move to AUS permanently:

1) Apply for TFN
2) Register with Medicare
3) Open Bank Account

Is the order correct, and also am I missing something apart from start searching for a job and a rental

Please reply.

Get an Oz driving licence. Its used as ID all over the place.

6 Enrol children in school if applicable
7 Drivers licence

Never been near the place; I'd say you can ignore that bit certainly at first, unless you are entitled to child benefit.

centrelink is where you get your child benefit from and other benfits like that
