From an earlier thread some may know that we are going to get married in Perth later this year....after some discussion this week we are considering emigrating....this would give us 5months max to try and sort out the house sale, removal etc.... CAN THIS BE DONE? I am a Dr and other half is an OT, we have two kiddies 1yr old and 2yr old by time of travel. We like Perth so that would be first choice, I know Adelaide and other half knows Melbourne but we would consider those too.

Hi
Try this thread, I suggest:

Madhu is a GP who seems to have worked in Oz on some sort of temp visa whilst waiting for the PR visa to come through. It would seem that the delay and hassle for doctors is more likely to be with the skills assessment than with the application itself.
The websites suggested by Madhu might help.
Apart from that, I agree with Hutch. I also think you would be able to get better help on the Immigration forum.
