Is there anything more stressful than preparing to immigrate? shipping in 2 days, flying in 6 and it still looks like we're settled here for the summer! Why do women accumalte so much crap and where is Mary Poppins when you need her?

Hi- we are using Simpsons who were recommended by a family member.They don't seem too pricey as I have heard some horrendously high quotes. Depends how much your taking of course- i would say you have to be ruthless and TRY not to be sentimental. (easier said than done for the better half and her birthday/christmas card collection!)

Where would you suggest the best place is to get rid of them Hutch? I have a large collection of 1980s 12" hip hop and house, some of which is quite rare. Ebay, or is there somewhere better?

Beds
Sofa and chairs
Dining Table and chairs
Cabinet
Clothes
Stereo

And that's it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :scared: Not allowed to take anything else! I had to barter for that lot!!

It is definately worth it

I sold most of my belongings when I moved back to England in 99! I arrived with a PC and 6 boxes of stuff - mainly books n cd's!

I move back to Australia in Dec. I am selling all my furniture or getting rid of it. Nothing of great value, except tv, dvd. My partner & I shall take personal effects suchas cd's, books and dvd's!

Hi, i know how you feel my shippers are coming Wednesday to pack and the containers coming Thursday. Were then stuck in a house with no furniture untill 27th Feb when the house sale is set for completion.

Hello,can i say my husband has just sold all his large collection of 80s records on ebay.He made a nice amount and has managed to buy all his brand new electricians tools he will need in oz off ebay out of the money.So i would say go for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
