teacher moving to nsw. do i need to another assessment
hi. my husband is the one who managed to get us a PR as he's a teacher. After doing his skills assessment to prove he's a techer, i've read that oversea teachers in nsw have to be approved by their department. Which involves a 5day placement, interview etc. Is this correct or have i just read it wrong. He hasn't got a job to go to, we are just going on a wing and a prayer and hopefully work will come. foolish to some i know.
Has anyone had experienced anything like this, or is this just for oversea teachers who haven't got a pr visa.

Re: teacher moving to nsw. do i need to another assessment
https://www.det.nsw.edu.au/employment/recruit/index.htm is a good place to start and here https://www.det.nsw.edu.au/employmen...w/overseas.htm.
Be aware though that teaching positions are very hard to come by unless you are prepared to do the hardship postings first. If you dont mind being out in Woop Woop for 2 or 3 years then you might get something.
Good luck
